Workopoly
About

A connector, not a mediator

What Workopoly does

Workopoly turns any home improvement job into a signed agreement with photographic evidence, whether you have found your contractor through us or already have one in mind. We are not a mediator standing between you and the other party, and we are not a party to whatever you agree between yourselves. We provide both sides with a shared, clear record: what was agreed, what it costs, what has been paid, and photographic evidence of the work itself.

How it works

Find a contractor, or bring your own

Post a job to our marketplace and receive quotes from contractors, or invite a contractor you already know and trust directly by email.

Agree the terms, in writing

A structured quote, a signed agreement, and a payment schedule confirmed by both parties, so that nothing is left to a verbal understanding that is difficult to refer back to later.

Document the work as it happens

Photographic and video evidence attached to the job itself, providing a shared, timestamped record of what was actually done.

Leave honest feedback, in both directions

Homeowners review the work carried out. Contractors may also privately rate the homeowner, visible to other contractors deciding whether to take on a job, but never shown publicly.

What we do not do

We do not process payments between you and the other party; you pay one another however you have agreed, whether by bank transfer or otherwise, and Workopoly simply maintains the shared record that both sides confirm. We do not arbitrate disputes about the quality of work. Nor do we sell your data; see our Privacy Policy for full details of what we collect and why.

Who we are
